PTA Mini-Grants

Who: PTA Mini-Grants are open to any teaching staff member, social worker and psychologist at any of our three elementary schools (John Paulding, W.L. Morse, and Washing Irving) or the middle school (SHMS).

What: Every year, the PTA sets aside funds to fill grants for things you need to help our children. Some recent grants we have funded include: iPads, PE equipment, books, assemblies, subscriptions to educational sites for teachers, sensory paths, flexible seating, animal adoptions, speech materials and more!

Where: Please email your completed application to minigrant@horsemenpta.com. Applications were emailed by your building principal. Please note you must have principal approval for all grant applications.

When: The submission period for the 2021-22 school year is now closed. Applicants should expect to hear back from the PTA via email 2 weeks after the deadline.

Why: We know how hard you all work to support our children and help them learn and grow. We also know unfortunately there is never enough money to do all that you would like. This is one small way we can help.

This year, we have $15,000 to grant for grades Pre-K – 5 and $3,000 to grant for grades 6 – 8. Help us give every last dollar away by applying for a mini-grant. If you have any questions, please contact PTA President Sophia Rana president@horsemenpta.com.
