Community Wardrobe

Update: June 7, 2021

Community Wardrobe is a joint effort of the Horsemen PTA and the Village of Sleepy Hollow that finds new homes for good clothes…free to locals who need them. Interested neighbors may come by appointment only.

The Wardrobe has a new home! Thanks to the Westchester Community Opportunity Center (WestCOP) at 105 Wildey Street in Tarrytown, NY, for partnering with us.

We need volunteers to hang clothing on Tuesday, June 8, and Thursday, June 10. Sign up here or click the button below:

We are not currently accepting donations, but keep an eye on this page for updates as we will begin to accept them again later in the summer. To be added to our mailing list, e-mail CommunityWardrobe@HorsemenPTA.com

Our next shopping hours will be Thursday, June 24, through Saturday, June 26, 2021.  Clients can come BY APPOINTMENT ONLY to find clothes and shoes for the whole family.

Which Items We Need Donated Right Now

We are not currently accepting donations. We will begin accepting clothing later this summer. As always, limit your donations to the needs posted here.

(The TASH farmer’s market always hosts Green Tree Textiles: you can bring soiled, torn clothing and shoes there.)
