K-5 Parents and Families- It’s Fun Run Registration Time! 🎉 You can now register for our Horsemen PTA Fun Run to take place during school on October 12th! Our goal is to raise $40,000 to support cultural arts programming, K-5 field days, teacher mini grants, and more to strengthen our school community. Registering is easy and free! “No Cook Wednesday”: PTA Food Trucks Fundraiser Nov. 18

Take a night off from cooking and grab your dinner to go with food trucks brought to you by Horsemen PTA!

Food trucks will be available on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the John Paulding School parking lot. Please note registration is required for a spot in line. Click here to register.

Please note this event has been rescheduled from Nov. 11 to Nov. 18 due to a forecast of heavy rain! We are rolling over registrations from Nov. 11 to Nov. 18. Please change your sign-up if you require a different time slot for the new date!

Here are the trucks that will be attending:

Physical distancing and face masks required. This is a grab-and-go event—please send only one member of your family to wait in line, and please register for only one person regardless of the number of trucks you would like to visit and number of meals you will be taking to go.

20 percent of proceeds will benefit our schools via the Horsemen PTA.

You Asked, We Did It! School Supplies Online!

For years, guardians and teachers alike have expressed an interest in an online school supply ordering option. Now, that option is here!

The Horsemen PTA has partnered with teachers in grades K-8 to post each grade’s 2020-21 supply lists on SchoolToolBox.com

HOW: It’s easy. 

  1. Go to SchoolToolBox.com and create an account. 
  2. Search for your child(ren)’s school by name.
  3. Select their grade(s) for 2020/21. (Morse guardians, note that Dual Language lists differ from the other grade lists.) You do not need to know the teacher’s name.
  4. Select all or some of the required items. Select all or some of the suggested items.
  5. Consider donating to the PTA.
  6. Your supplies ship to your home.

Fundraising

Raise money for our schools with Boon Supply!

The Horsemen PTA is proud to partner with Boon Supply for our fall fundraiser this year. The fundraiser (including student and teacher incentives) will run from Oct. 2 – Oct. 15, but online ordering will be open until Dec. 31. Please look out for fundraiser packets in backpacks (elementary school families) and flyers and digital communications (all families) on Oct. 2 and throughout the fundraiser. Note the many fun prizes and incentives available!

Your Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow EPTA is changing the direction of its fundraising this year.  To raise the $32,000 it takes every year to provide all of the programming and educational benefits we sponsor, this year we are asking for Direct Donations from our Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow friends and family.

What is DIRECT DONATION?

A VERY EASY, QUICK WAY FOR OUR SCHOOL TO EARN MONEY FOR OUR TEACHERS AND CHILDREN!  100% of your donation goes directly to benefit the children through materials, events and programs and is 100% tax deductible!

Why DIRECT DONATION?

Direct Donation eliminates the hassles, gets more cash for our classrooms, and allows your money to work harder for our students!

Help us provide all the programming and educational benefits we do throughout the school year! (For a sample of what the EPTA has made possible in the elementary schools, please review the list below.)  If your employer offers a matching fund program, please let them know about your donation!

Please use the attached Direct Donation Flyer to return your generous donation to the EPTA. You can send it in to school with your child, who can give it to his/her teacher.
