Learn about WIHD Community Support Network with SNC

The Horsemen Special Needs Committee (SNC) has organized its first informational meeting, which will be hosted by the Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD) on Wednesday, May 8, from 7-8 p.m. in the John Paulding School all-purpose room.
At this meeting, “Introducing the Community Support Network at WIHD,”   attendees will learn where they can navigate the various systems of education and support available to individuals with disabilities in New York State across the lifespan.  The discussion will include special education, OPWDD eligibility, community opportunities, guardianship and more topics.
All parents of children with IEPs and 504s are invited, as are any other interested community members.
Horsemen SNC also warmly welcomes any interested parents from other PT(S)As in the Rivertown Parents consortium.
